I am Managing Director at Veronica Holding, a Dutch mid sized mixed media organisation with interests in several radio properties such as Radio Veronica, KinkFM and V-Radio.
Within Veronica we are pioneers and have been since our inception many years ago… We like changing landscapes and always come up with new ideas and formats. With the recent dramatic changes in the music and radio-industries we believe these are excellent times for our pioneering skills….
Next to the pioneering aspect we believe in giving young talent a platform in media and encourage them to join us in sourcing the new frontiers.
Before Veronica I have been in (venture) capital, management and consulting in Telecom Informationtechnology Media Entertainment sector.
I have held several director positions in this field, in several European countries, both within telecom operators such as BT and Bredbandsbolaget, as in consulting.
Through my management, consulting and investment experience I have a broad and deep understanding of the media industry and the challenges for the individual companies and their shareholders.
Next to Veronica, I am Chairman of IPAN the Dutch interactive professionals association, Fund Manager at private equity fund Dutch Creative Industry Fund and Advisory Board member at Liftconference. I also co-organise a well known Dutch new media conference: Blognomics.
Next to media consumption in general I really like to take photographs and I publish those at various (online) locations such as Flickr and my own weblog.
