Tim Wall is Professor of Radio and Popular Music at the Birmingham School of Media and Birmingham City University, UK.
He is a AHRC Knowledge Transfer Fellow in New Radio and Music Strategies and he leads Interactive Cultures, which does research, consultancy and knowledge transfer work using new media technologies for music and radio.
As chair of the Radio Studies Network, editor of the Radio Journal, and through his publications on radio technology, regulation and policy he has made a contribution to the development of radio studies as an academic discipline.
